Will my accountant be fully dedicated to my firm?
Yes! While your team member is technically employed by CAS, they are fully dedicated to your firm. They will work exclusively for you, full-time—Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. If you prefer, they’ll also align with your time zone to ensure seamless collaboration and cultural fit.
What are the fees and costs
Our pricing is simple and transparent, with a flat monthly fee tailored to the qualifications and experience of your dedicated team member. There’s also a one-time kickoff fee of $1,950, which covers search, sourcing, and equipment setup. No hidden charges—just straightforward pricing you can rely on.
How quickly can you place a team member with my firm?
In the Philippines, it’s customary to provide one month’s notice before leaving a current employer. We recommend firms plan for about four weeks from making an offer to the candidate’s start date. However, we often have candidates available who can start sooner, depending on their circumstances.
What cybersecurity controls are in place for team members?
We take cybersecurity very seriously. Our in-house IT team ensures that all systems and processes meet the highest security standards. At kickoff, we perform a comprehensive technology assessment, and each team member is equipped with a fully secured computer provided by CAS. This commitment safeguards your data and ensures a secure, compliant work environment from the start.
What is your offboarding process if I no longer need a team member?
We require a two-month minimum commitment to ensure your firm has time to fully onboard and integrate your new team member, fostering a strong cultural fit and setting the foundation for long-term success. After the initial two months, the arrangement transitions to a month-to-month commitment, with a 30-day notice required to offboard a team member.
Can I hire part-time or seasonal team members?
No, we only offer full-time, long-term placements. Our focus is on providing dedicated team members who become an integral part of your firm for the long term.
How do I know I’m getting a high-quality accountant?
Our accountants bring the same dedication, effort, and foundational expertise as onshore professionals. Just like with any new hire, you’ll provide the training specific to your firm’s processes and preferences to ensure a seamless integration.
What about time zone differences?
All of our team members work in the same time zone as our clients. This ensures seamless communication and collaboration, making it easy to stay connected and productive throughout the workday.
How can I assess my team member’s English proficiency?
We carefully pre-screen all candidates to ensure strong English proficiency and effective communication skills. Before scheduling a virtual interview, you’ll receive an introductory video of the candidate speaking, giving you an opportunity to assess their communication skills firsthand alongside their accounting expertise.
What if my firm relies on desktop applications instead of cloud-based tools?
While cloud-based applications are ideal for working with offshore, virtual team members, we can still support firms using desktop applications or servers. Our in-house IT team ensures a secure and cyber-safe environment for seamless collaboration, regardless of your setup.
